Words are but Tidy Anchors to the Mess of Life

Words are but tidy anchors to the mess of life.

They just barely grab the unrest that fuels insight, pinning mere morsels of creative insight onto paper.

Note the instability and flow of nature swirling about undeserving words.

Like a king throwing scraps to a dog, our words bite and claw at whatever they can catch.

Words can be beautiful, but their delicacy and refinement are but enclaves to truth; a truth held most fully within the crude and unpolished winds of our experience.

Our scrawls are only worth the refinement they interrupt, compelling others to carve off their own slice of mess and refine yet again.

Words can be beautiful. But they are not life.
