There is Nothing Less Fallacious Than an Appeal to Nature

Appealing to nature is almost never fallacious because nature is the ultimate survival mechanism. A thing that emerges from a natural process like evolution has the internal makeup of a thing that persists and thrives amidst real world stressors. There’s no such thing as surviving randomly over the long run, and there’s no greater generator of surviving things than nature.

Humans don’t come close to creating the sophistication nature creates. If the alternative to appealing to nature is appealing to the contemporary innovations of modern society, then it’s the modern appeal that is fallacious.

A thing works for internal reasons we don’t have access to. If you uncover the driving mechanisms behind an effective approach it’s either because you’re dealing with something too simplistic to be effective, or you’re deluding yourself with causal fairy tales.

Nature found the things that work, and it spent millions of years finding them. The mainstream lie that contrived modern explanations and recipes can compete with nature is nothing but pseudoscience and money-making narrative.

There is nothing less fallacious than appealing to nature. That is true logic.
