Just speak. Just write.
Your Work Must be You, So Make it as Such.
A conversation/speech that is mostly casual and rough around the edges, with a small number of articulate, eloquent remarks, is far more enjoyable and memorable than a fully well-rehearsed, well-spoken presentation.
Critical remarks worthy of polished oratory should stand in juxtaposition to how everyday people talk.
Anything that tries to make too many points ends up making none, as there exists no contextual backdrop to mark a point as profound.
People will waste hours preparing the life out of their dialogue, when speaking on a moment’s notice would have been its true perfection.
Your work must be you, so make it as such. Let your words come as they are. People need to see the brush you navigate past, not merely walk your prelaid path.
To risk no fallibility in one’s lecture is to rob the assembly of the method to your madness. What worth is shared wisdom if no sense of journey is conveyed?
Just speak. Just write.
It is all as it should be.
