Internalize anything you want to understand.

Whatever notes you’ve taken, do not speak to others with them. If it has not taken seat in your mind what business do you have telling it to others?

There is a reason humans detect inauthenticity so well; it is damaging to the group. Risk management depends on heuristics that filter xeroxed information.

Schooling told you to take notes, regurgitate the information just in time for a test, then leave. This is the antithesis of internalization.

Simple rule: can you just speak about it? Try in your mind, on your walks, then in front of others.

2 ways to internalize information:

1. seek conversations, not answers;

2. create the things you want to understand.

Conversations hit the topic from multiple angles. It gives you what memorized jargon cannot; it gives you invariant signals, emotional cues, patterns. Converse with what/whomever until you feel what it all means.

As for creating what you want to understand, this is how you have a conversation with nature.
