I also believe this is where physics is headed…

and that computation is today’s most relevant scientific tool…

But Wolfram needs to bring his methods away from Mathematica and towards the Python computing environment if he is truly interested in wide adoption and collaboration. Keeping your techniques behind licensed software is no way to invite collaboration. The overwhelming majority of real-world computational scientists do not use mathematica.
